Weekly Tittle

The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.

Creating a Vision, Part II

This week’s assignment is to continue the process of designing a vision for your home, building on last week’s efforts:

  • If you haven’t begun the process to create a vision for your home yet, revisit last week’s webcast for guidance. Start with the action items we suggest in last week’s Weekly Tittle.
  • Make a list of values or principles that you want your home to embody and honor. Your list may include individual words, short phrases, or complete statements.
  • Set aside time to reflect on how you want to feel or how you want to help other people feel in your home. Make note of other locations and spaces that have evoked the desired feelings for you.
  • Capture your vision: Begin the process of collecting and curating elements for a vision board, or start a notebook or journal to craft a written vision statement.
